Douglas-Wilson’s submission to the Tribunal of Enquiry into the events of 7th May; although not seemingly involved in the planning or the front line of the demonstration, Douglas-Wilson’s account nonetheless conforms to many of the other demonstrators’ accounts in its insistence on the non-violent nature of the protest at Dr Inch’s lecture to the student Chemical Society at Wivenhoe House
