Chemistry student Wiggins’ oral testimony before the Tribunal of Enquiry into the events of 7th May (pp. 272-276 of transcripts) focuses almost entirely (apart from a brief mention of Jem Thomas’ spectacles) on the events in the car park of Wivenhoe House following the disruption of Dr Inch’s lecture to the student Chemical Society; Wiggins had been accused, by a number of demonstrators, of driving recklessly out of the car park following the protest
