Student photographer Paul Goodchild testifying briefly before the Tribunal of Enquiry into the events of 7th May (pp. 329-331 of transcripts), largely to help the panel to clarify the precise timing of the arrival of the police at Wivenhoe House, following the disruption of Dr Inch’s lecture to the student Chemical Society; Goodchild reaffirms that there was a police car on one of the University squares down in the valley by about 4.30, the time at which the lecture was only just beginning
