Andy Mack’s written statement for the Tribunal of Enquiry into the events of 7th May, detailing his participation in the demonstration against Dr Inch’s lecture to the student Chemical Society in Wivenhoe House; Mack was one of the students who put questions to Inch in the lobby outside the Committee Room, and subsequently wrote and distributed ‘A Statement’, which can be found appended to this submission (with a margin note highlighting the specific lines on May 7th), as well as in the Internal Documents collection in Box 14; the author apologises for the delay in getting the submission to the Tribunal, explaining that he had spent the previous week ‘on an educational visit to Paris’
