A point by point intervention into specific aspects of the events of 7th May, Clark’s statement to the Tribunal of Enquiry, like others, carefully uses the word ‘heckle’ for the reading of the indictment; the Art lecturer also comments on the improved quality of the heckling, by comparison with the standard at the demonstration against Enoch Powell, MP, the previous term, which (Clark claims) was widely agreed to have been pretty poor
